Virtual Marching - Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction
The Herald reports that the Orange Order is to organise a virtual 'stay at home' march for supporters on July 12th this year because of the ongoing Coronavirus ban on large public gatherings.
Thus confirming the wisdom of the old adage that 'truth is often stranger than fiction'.

Orange Order to hold virtual parade for Boyne celebrations after cancelling physical marches
Loyalists in Scotland are to take part in a virtual parade as part of the annual Boyne celebrations.
The Grand Orange Lodge of Scotland is hoping to broadcast footage of previous marches alongside a live church service after being forced to cancel this year's walks due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
The Edinburgh Festival has been cancelled, Glasgow's climate change COP26 conference has been cancelled, the giant Glastonbury music festival has been cancelled and Tokyo's Olympic Games have been cancelled.
So it comes as no surprise that the Orange Order just pulled the plug on Glasgow's marching season, for the moment at least.
Apparently the Orange Order has suggested organising an alternative event later in the year which presumably means the marchers are switching their activities indoors.
Thus confirming the wisdom of the old adage that 'truth is often stranger than fiction'.
