Put Pedestrians First - For A Change!

The Sunday Post has a great story about a ScotGov quango - the Improvement Service (IS) which gets millions of pounds from Scottish ministers every year to make local councils better and more efficient.

Yet the latest IS advice is that councils should clear cycle paths before roads.....to avoid sexism. 

I'm afraid this obsession with cycle lanes is getting out of hand because the real improvement councils could make is tackling pavements/footpaths - and put pedestrians first for a change.
