Humza, Hostages and Piping Down
Humza Yousaf has a track record of behaving like a fool on social media - eg his 'live' Twitter attack on fellow Scottish MSPs as they took vital evidence at the Holyrood inquiry into the Alex Salmond affair.Shameful that UK citizens trapped in Gaza dont even get a mention. Might be helpful if you give them at least a passing mention in your discussions.

They're trapped in a warzone & need you, Foreign Secretary, to demand a ceasefire, and the Rafah crossing opened to let them out. https://t.co/o0XbTnPRA2
So it comes as no surprise to see Humza trying to score partisan points over the desperate situation in Israel/Gaza.
UK citizens who travelled to Gaza against government advice are not the Foreign Secretary's top priority at the moment - freeing the hostages, preventing the conflict spreading and getting aid into Gaza are the top priorities and for good reason.
I do hope Humza's in-laws get out soon, but he should pipe down and stop trying to make this such a personal matter when so many other issues and lives are at stake.
Whilst @RishiSunak is in Israel, I’m in Egypt, Qatar and Turkey.

My goals are clear:
Secure the release of British hostages.
Stop the violence spreading to the region.
Ensure emergency aid can get into Gaza.
