The Sky's The Limit!
I was in Airdrie on Sunday to watch Celtic FC Women play Glasgow Women, as a guest of Tayside Aviation, one of the team's latest sponsors.
Tayside Aviation believe there should be no limits on young women's ambitions in today's job market and that a career in professional football or as an airline pilot should be up there alongside other more traditional female roles.
So sponsoring a talented team of young women football players who are drawn from around the world seemed like a perfect fit.
The game was at the Excelsior Stadium in Airdrie featuring Celtic FC and Glasgow Women - the home side ran out comfortable 7-0 winners in the end although only after a spirited display from the Glasgow Women.
All in all a throughly enjoyable family day out - and isn't it just fantastic to see women's football in Scotland coming on in leaps and bounds.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Celtic's 23-year-old striker Clarissa Larisey who started her football career in Canada before moving to America, then on to Iceland where she had a successful spell with Icelandic champions Valur before joining Celtic Women in the summer of 2021.
Clarissa has recently been called up to join Canada's national team.
The Celtic coach is Fran Alonso is Spanish (from Gran Canaria) and manages an international squad of players from China, New Zealand, Canada, Iceland, US, England and Ireland.
Livvy Chance was Sunday's player of the match after her non-stop, all-action midfield display.
