Happy Birthday South Park

Today is the 20th birthday of 'South Park' which I first started watching with my two children even though much of its scabrous content was very politically incorrect.

But I took the view that much like Road Dahl's books children love things that make fun of the adult world which is often contradictory and hypocritical.

And all these years later the programme is still a joy to watch - my personal favourite is 'Starvin' Marvin' which had me in stitches and I can wait to see what Trey Parker and Matt Stone make of the madness of the Trump Presidency.
