Calling North Lanarkshire

The roll-out of the settlement with North Lanarkshire Council has gone very smoothly, despite the large number (3,000+) of claimants involved, but the Action 4 Equality Scotland office has been unable to contact the following clients:
  1. James McGhee
  2. Mary Miller
  3. Marian Murdoch
  4. Julie Patterson
  5. Shirley Rae
  6. Margaret Reid
  7. Kathleen Dornan
  8. Denis Campbell
  9. Christine Gracie
  10. David Compton
  11. Cathie Stirling
  12. Elizabeth Farley
Letters containing offers of settlement have been sent out to all of these individuals - some have been returned marked as 'no longer at this address' while in others cases there has been no response at all.

The likeliest explanation is that people have changed their address without advising the A4ES office of a forwarding address.

But if they don't get in touch soon it will not be possible to progress their NLC settlements any further which would be a great shame for the folks concerned, especially after all this time and all the hard work that's gone into getting people the money they deserve.

So, if readers are in touch with any of these individuals, then ask them to drop me a note at markirvine@compuserve.com - or ring A4ES on 0131 652 7366 or email A4ES at enquiries@action4equality.co.uk
