Shut Up Swinney and Give Peace A Chance

Iain Macwhirter's column in the Times is scathing about John Swinney who has been keen to wear pro-Palestinian lapel badges and fly pro-Palestinian flags, but the First Minister has lost his voice over President Trump's widely welcomed peace plan.

While Swinney has been only too happy to criticise Israel he has had little to say about Hamas, October 7, the scourge of terrorism which triggered the war in Gaza - or the vile behaviour of pro-Palestinian protesters with their Jew-hating antisemitic chants.

'BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY' and 'FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA' are calls for the destruction of Israel which John Swinney and other Scottish politicians should be be condemning out of hand.
