NHS Fife - Bigots and Bullies at Work

Jamie Doyle is the Head of Nursing for Acute Services in NHS Fife - his job is to look after the interests of patients and the nurses who care for patients in Fife health board.

But Jamie Doyle did not do his job properly when he learned of an incident involving nurse Sandie Peggie and doctor Theodore Upton.

Rather Doyle took the doctor's side immediately without even speaking to the nurse, recommended she be suspended and went as far as suggesting the incident be reported to Police Scotland - all of which is documented in the below email dated 30 December 2023.

Jamie Doyle should be held to account for his behaviour by his employer - his email and actions were highly prejudicial, unprofessional and unethical towards a member of staff to whom he owed a duty of care.

Instead Sandie Peggie was subjected to an ugly witch hunt and a partisan 'investigation' by the equivalent of an angry mob.

If I were representing Sandie Peggie and NHS Fife fail to act, I would make a formal complaint against against Jamie Doyle.

In normal circumstances, a trade union would raise a such  complaint on behalf of their member, but as Sandie Peggie is suing the RCN (Royal College of Nursing) she may have to do this under her own steam.

I would be happy to help in anyway I can.
