Misogyny, Racism and Rape Gangs

Fair comment from Dan Hodges - Keir Starmer ought to press ahead and implement in full the recommendations of the Jay report into Child Sexual Abuse.

But there is no reason this cannot be done alongside an independent inquiry into the appalling cover up which allowed rape gangs of Pakistani men to prey on vulnerable young girls in towns like Rotherham for years.

Dan Hodges hits the nail on the head - misogyny and racial hatred were at the heart of the rape gang scandals in towns like Rotherham and Rochdale.

Yet the usual voices on the 'left' of UK politics are silent for all the wrong reasons. 

The recommendations of Alexis Jay's inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse ought to be implemented in full, but there should also be a separate inquiry to consider why so many public institutions failed to protect vulnerable young girls from predatory men.
