The Women Who Wouldn't Wheesht - Meet Joanna Cherry
Joanna Cherry is another one of the 'Women Who Wouldn't Wheesht' in the face of the SNP led Scottish Government's efforts to undermine women's rights to single sex spaces.
Like other pesky women who challenged the cult of self-ID/gender ideology, Joanna was quickly singled out for punishment.
Here's an excerpt from Joanna's chapter in 'TWWWW':
"On Monday 1 February 2021, I was sacked from my position as the SNP’s front bench spokesperson on Justice and Home Affairs at Westminster. There was no advance warning, no thanks, and no acknowledgement of the role I had played on the SNP front bench for nearly six years.
"Ian Blackford MP, the then-leader of the SNP Westminster group, let it be known that I had been sacked for ‘unacceptable behaviour’, but he never actually spelt out what he meant by that.
"It was left to others, including Kirsty Blackman MP and Nicola Sturgeon in her now infamous ‘broom cupboard’ broadcast, to make it clear that I was being sacked for ‘transphobia’.
"That same evening, I received threats of sexual violence from a party member who was later charged and convicted. No one in a leadership position in the SNP has ever publicly condemned his actions.
"Dealing with the aftermath of my sacking, the constant internal attacks within the SNP, the vicious atmosphere in the SNP Westminster group and at NEC meetings, took its toll on my health.
"I really struggled with the unfairness of the attacks upon me and the attempts to trash my reputation, given my long history as a human rights lawyer, an LGB activist and a feminist with experience of prosecuting sex crimes and an expert on safeguarding."
