SNP - Do As I Say, Not As I Do!

Alex Massie gives the SNP a well deserved roasting with his column on the two-child limit benefit cap.
Nationalist leaders demand Labour removes the cap after 3 weeks in government yet curiously the SNP have chosen not to do so themselves.
Now this is devolution in practice - the ability for Scotland to do things differently from the rest of the UK if and when it makes sense to do so.
For example, Scotland has abolished university tuition fees which represents a huge transfer of wealth from the 'less well off' to the 'better off' - although the downside is less public money to spend in other areas of course.
All of which means the SNP can't have it both ways without being seen to be a bunch of whining hypocrites.
