Pisspoor Protests and Patrick Harvie

The right to protest is a good thing in my view, but unlike Patrick Harvie and the wacko Greens I say some of these eco activists take things to crazy extremes.

So I don't agree with blocking ambulances, creating major disruption and preventing people from going about their everyday lives. 

Never mind pouring bottles of stale piss over your head for someone else on a low wage to clean up.

 

Right To Protest (May 24, 2023)

I'm all in favour of the right to protest, but that doesn't mean we should have to put up with eco warriors, trans crazies and other assorted loons from stopping the rest of us from going about our normal, everyday business.

I enjoyed this 'Just Stop Oil' cartoon from the latest edition of Private Eye - the UK's best and only fortnightly satirical magazine.

People are fed up with these clowns who think they're entitled to disrupt everything - from people making their way to hospital to world championship road races.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
