Men who prey on women (and children) do so when no one else is around to witness their actions.
The absence of third-party witness evidence makes it more difficult to prosecute such cases successfully.
One way of doing so is to encourage other victims to come forward to expose a pattern of behaviour over allegations which are not otherwise linked, ie that a series of identical or similar complaints can amount to corroboration.
