After campaigning on a platform of 'down with global elites' the BBC reports that Donald Trump has named three of his children and his son-in-law to the transitional team preparing for his inauguration as President of the United States (POTUS).

Who knows where it will all end, but the move stands in stark contrast to Trump's justified criticism of political dynasties in America which have seen the Bush and Clinton families dominating American politics for the past thirty years.

Twitter is having lots of fun mocking Donald Trump after the President took his daughter Ivanka to the G20 summit of world leaders in Osaka.

Ivanka was filmed trying to 'butt in' to a conversation involving French President Emmanuel Macron, Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, UK Prime Minister Theresa May and IMF Director Christine Lagarde.

Twitter responded magnificently with images of Ivanka 'photo-bombing' lots of other historic occasions - many of which are hilariously funny.

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
