Labour - For Cake and Eating Cake


Labour's laughable Brexit policy has not come under serious scrutiny with the political spotlight focused on a Government that is tearing itself apart.

 According to all the polling evidence almost 90% of Labour members and supporters are in favour of staying in the EU - and would vote to do so, if asked in another 'People's Vote' referendum.

 Yet Jeremy Corbyn continues to pursue the fantasy of a better Brexit deal under Labour and that we can leave the EU while retaining all of the benefits of being a amber of the EU.  

 If you ask me, that's a dishonest anti-union position to hold by someone who used to be a full-time union official.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
