A Good Question



At the young journalist's funeral service, Father Martin McGill asked why it took the cowardly murder of Lyra McKee to unite Northern Ireland's political leaders. 

 
If you ask me, the best tribute that could be paid to Lyra would be for the local community in Derry to restate its opposition to violence and drive out the paramilitary thugs.

And for the political parties in North Ireland to step up to the plate by getting the Government and the Northern Ireland Assembly back up and running.

Murderers Masquerade as Freedom Fighters (20/04/19)



Following the murder of a young woman journalist, Lyra McKee, in Derry on Thursday night the Revolutionary Irish Republican Party released the following statement.


If you ask me, hiding behind these cowardly, deluded, nauseating words is a gang of self-appointed, sociopaths masquerading as Irish freedom fighters.

So let's hope the community unites to bring these cowards and their supporters to justice.
