Scotland's Shame

Great to see at least one Scottish newspaper highlighting the ugly abuse from trans activists at Saturday's Let Women Speak (LWS) event in Edinburgh.  

It is appalling that in 2024 women cannot gather to discuss their rights without being met with harassment, intimidation and disruption.

It is embarrassing - a terrible stain on Scotland, the SNP and the police.

It's disturbing and astonishing in equal measure that in 2024 after 17 years of SNP government women can't gather in Scotland's capital city without being harassed and intimidated by angry men.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
