Hate Crime Baloney
As a trade union representative I always operated on the basis that someone accused of wrongdoing was always entitled to:
1) know the details of any allegation
2) know who was making the allegation
3) have a proper opportunity to defend themselves
Now there may be good reason to restrict the identity of an accuser, in extreme circumstances, but it's absurd to define a 'hate incident' solely from the standpoint of an accuser.
