Hate Crime Act - Unwanted, Unnecessary, Unworkable!

Humza Yousaf's hate crime act is causing havoc with Police Scotland expecting the total number of complaints to reach 10,000 by Monday.

After 3 years of preparation the new law is widely seen as a shambles with 20% of officers still to undergo the required training which consists of a two-hour video.

A senior police officer told the Sunday Mail:

“It’s a two-hour video with a test at the end. They were passing the answers round on bits of paper so everyone could tick the right box to mark the training as complete.”

The whole thing is a farce - a terrible waste of police time and public resources.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
