Woke Politicians and Cultural Appropriation



I laughed like a drain the other night watching the second series of The Politician - a Netflix comedy/drama series.

 The lead character Payton Hobart, a budding politician, feels the need to make a public apology for 'cultural appropriation' after a photo emerges of him dressed up as a Native American for Halloween - when he was just 6 years old.

 Now that is funny and all the more so because that's definitely the direction of travel as far as 'woke' politics is concerned.
