Glasgow's MSPs (04/11/18)
Here are some of the comments I've received on my post about the absence of Glasgow's constituency MSPs from the historic March and Rally in support of Equal Pay on Tuesday 23 October 2018.
I didn’t expect they would and just like the teachers they will all have been warned working an inch of their lives not to.

Expect nothing you don't get disappointed.

I think it is entirely reasonable for people to have expected their local Members of the Scottish Parliament to show their support on such an historic day - if you ask me it’s completely shameful that not one of them turned up to talk to their local constituents. Now was that an unlikely coincidence or an organised boycott?
Mark Irvine
I think the latter.
M
Definitely an organised boycott but we won't forget when its time to vote them back in

Well as I say action speaks louder than words so they better get ear plugs come election days as I won’t vote for someone who ignores there constituents. Which will make it hard as they are all as bad as each other.

Lets hope last weeks tentative talks and the next six weeks of negotiations will be better than what’s already happened.
GCC just need to ditch any legal challenges and fighting through tribunal and AOD just has to suck it up and let it go now and move on and forward .
She is like a rat with a pie !
But the strike has shown that we mean business and the teams who have our best interests at heart too.

Calling Glasgow! (22/10/18)
If readers spot any of Glasgow's MSPs and MPs on tomorrow's March and Rally in support of equal pay, drop me a note as I'll give them a big 'shout out' on the blog for doing right by their local constituents.
I am hoping for a good turnout because every one of these Glasgow politicians have said at some time or another that they support the principle of equal pay for work of equal value.
So let's see who puts their money where their mouth is - by turning up at Glasgow Green tomorrow!
