Glasgow - Readers' Comments

I've been a bit pre-occupied since yesterday's big victory at the Court of Session in Edinburgh, Scotland's highest civil court, where three senior judges sent Glasgow City Council packing over their application for leave to appeal to the UK Supreme Court in London. 

But here is a selection of readers' comments on this latest development, so let's all hope that the City Council comes to its senses in the New Year.

Great news now let us sit back and see what happens. Will an SNP led council try take us to a UK court or will Susan Aitken actually lead and tell these officers it is time to stop and settle. Or,will she hide behind the fact that they tried appeal as being a procedure and for clarity when twice it has been made clear that there is no grounds to appeal?

Well Done! I now await the GCC's next appeal to the UK Supreme Court which would be very ironic and embarrassing for a SNP run council! Anything to delay whats due. I find it very concerning that this whole issue is rarely discussed or highlighted in the nedia as much as it should be. Other forces at work, maybe ?Manage
