The BBC reported recently that MSPs in the Scottish Parliament voted for a motion on education criticising the Scottish Government for "failing teachers, parents and pupils".
Now the Scottish Government is big enough to look after itself, but it does seem to me that the motion has its priorities the wrong way round.
If you ask me, the motion ought to have read "pupils, parents and teachers" just as the priorities in the NHS should be about "patients, families and staff".
