Falkirk Council Update

Action 4 Equality Scotland has been unable to contact the following clients in Falkirk regarding their equal pay settlements:

  1. Agnes Barr
  2. Julie Calder
Now it's likely that the individuals concerned have changed address with advising the A4ES office of their new contact details.

So if any readers in Falkirk are in touch with Agnes or Julie, please ask them to get in touch with A4ES as soon as possible: enquiries@action4equality.co.uk  

Otherwise their equal pay settlements will remain with the Council which would be a terrible shame after all the effort that's gone into resolving their long-standing claims.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
