North Lanarkshire Update



As regular readers know I have been in touch with politicians in North Lanarkshire over the Council's latest foot-dragging behaviour in relation to equal pay.

 So far, I've heard back from Councillor David Stocks, the leader of the opposition group in the Council and from:
Alex, Jamie and Neil all understand the background to the Council's very late-running JE review and are in a position to raise the matter on behalf of local constituents. 

 After all the Council has had months and months to prepare and put the resources in place to get this job done, but yet again has managed to let the workforce down. 

 As soon as I have any further news I'll share the details on the blog site, although you would think the least that Scotland's fourth largest Council could do is to give people a firm date for the process to be completed.
