Football Crazy
The Guardian reports on the completely mad decision of the (English) Football Association to launch an investigation into the comments of Heather Rabbatt who spoke out publicly about the shameful treatment of Chelsea's former team doctor, Eva Carneiro.
Apparently two FA Board members, 82-year-old Ron Barston and 70-year-old Richard Tur, complained about their fellow board member (Heather Rabbatt) and a complaint ny two members of the FA's 121-strong member council is enough to trigger an investigation.
Now the numbers don't matter to me, but what exactly is the FA Board going to investigate - whether or not individuals like Heather Rabbatt are entitled to comment on issues of public (and footballing) concern?
