Show Some Loyalty

The Labour MP for Ilford South, Mike Gapes, has taken the gloves off in his dealings with the new Labour leadership with some explosive comments on Twitter:

"There is now no collective shadow cabinet responsibility in our party, no clarity on economic policy and no credible leadership."

After being challenged by a fellow Twitter user to show some loyalty to Mr Corbyn, Mike Gapes really got into his stride:

"I will show loyalty in the same way as he was loyal to Kinnock, Smith, Blair, Brown, Beckett, Miliband and Harman. Ok?"

Now the problem for Corbyn and Co is that there really is no answer to points made by Mike Gapes in response to the accusation that he was being disloyal.

Not least because, as everyone knows, Jeremy Corbyn has been the most rebellious MP in Labour's history having voted more than 500 times against his own side.
