Teacakes 1 - 0 Fruitcakes

 

In a small gesture of solidarity against bullying behaviour I stocked up on Tunnock's tea cakes and caramel logs over the weekend.

And I'll bet a pound to a penny that the idiotic boycott campaign from the trans lobby has actually boosted Tunnock's sales.

Apparently some 'fruitcakes' in the trans lobby are calling for a boycott of Tunnock's teacakes after the company supplied samples of its products to an LGB Alliance conference the other day.   

Is there no end to the madness and vindictiveness of these sad people?

Anyway, in a show of solidarity against this kind of bullying nonsense I will pick up some of Tunnock's teacakes over the weekend.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
