Make A Wish



Tom Hanks is on a roll at the moment with a series of cameos on Saturday Night Live and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in which he reprises his encounter with Zoltar from the hit movie 'Big'.  



As they say, be careful what you wish for, especially any Americans out there crazy enough to even think about voting for Donald Trump.



On a separate note if you haven't seen Tom Hanks in 'Sully' the story of US Airways Flight 1549 making an emergency landing on New York's Hudson River, do yourself a favour and make a trip to the cinema - both Hanks and the movie's director Clint Eastwood are on great form.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
