JK Rowling Death Threats

JK Rowling, one of Scotland's best-loved and most successful writers, receives a death threat via Twitter from an account that is still active.

Meanwhile the Scottish Government is spending public money to normalise and legitimise the use of angry, misogynistic slurs such as TERF and FART.

Are SNP ministers on holiday or are they just keeping their heads down?

 

TERFs, FARTs and SNP Ministers (July 02, 2022)

Lots of coverage in the press today challenging SNP ministers to explain how they justify spending public money to promote vile trans propaganda.

Meanwhile I take my hat off to the Scottish civil servants who are doing a great job of embarrassing their political masters by leaking details of these insulting 'trans-friendly' training programmes.

The acronyms TERF and FART are slurs and terms of abuse, of course.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
