DPD - Fantastic Delivery Service



I hadn't used DPD before now, but I have to say the company provides a fantastic delivery service.

 I needed a new printer and because Currys/PC World is closed because of these barmy lockdown rules (see post below) I decided to order the machine online.

 24 hours later my new printer arrived within the one hour deliver slot I was given on placing my order and I was kept informed every step of the way by DPD's easy-to-use App.

 I was even given the delivery driver's name (Craig) and invited to provide feedback on the service which I gave 10 out of 10, no less!

 Feedback is a great idea and ought to be much more widely used if you ask me. 


 



Questions for the First Minister/Prime Minister (11/05/20)



I doubt I will ever get the chance to ask the First Minister or Prime Minister a question about Coronavirus, but if I did here's what I would ask Nicola and Boris.

"Why is a store like B&Q allowed to open while Currys/PC World is forced to remain closed?" 



Now I visited our local B&Q last week to buy some paint, plants, compost and whatnot.



I have to say I felt perfectly safe, just as safe as I do on the regular visits to our local supermarket because everyone practiced social distancing, including the staff also wore visors.  

More FMQs/PMQs to follow in the days ahead - maybe I'll email them into Nicola and Boris to increase my chances of getting an answer.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
