Trump Took That Well!


SEE YOU IN COURT, THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE!

In my experience people who write in CAPITAL LETTERS have something wrong with them and they often highlight words in red or green in FOR MAXIMUM EFFECT.  

Donald Trump fired off his latest tweet just minutes after an American Appeals Court had unanimously thrown out his blanket refugee ban, so he could hardly have even read the judges' decision never mind reflect on what they had to say.

Certainly the judges were not convinced of his arguments or the fact that the ban would extend to people who had already been issued with Green Cards and the right to residency in the United States.

If Trump's refugee ban had been about national security, the policy would of course have been more carefully targeted and that proved to be its undoing, the point being that throwing your weight around like a proverbial playground bully is no way to run the government of a 'free' country.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
