Grimsby Groping Claims

 The Grimsby Telegraph reported on claims that John Prescott 'groped' Linda MacDougall, wife of the former Labour MP Austin Mitchell.

 But Lord Prescott, who has since been elevated to the House of Lords, hit back and denied the claim that he had put his hand up Linda McDougall's skirt with the following bizarre comment:

 "because she was 'built like a bloody barn door" and that "the f****** house would have fallen down if he had."

Now Lord Prescott's no oil painting and if you ask me, he bears a much closer resemblance to a barn door than Linda McDougall although readers can judge that particular point for themselves.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
