Feminine Side of Scots Men


Who said that Scots men don't have a 'feminine' side?

 Well, whoever it was they better be prepared to eat their words after watching this tender YouTube video - in which a patient Scots driver and his passengers refuse to make mincemeat out of a frightened rabbit which is blocking their path on a dark and lonely road.

 Instead the driver cautiously follows the bunny for miles it seems- even stopping at times and switching his lights off, to encourage the poor creature to make good its escape.

 I was also impressed that the driver had no regard for his vehicle's fuel economy - as he followed the rabbit with his engine in 1st or 2nd gear to ensure maximum control - before finally putting his foot to the floor when it was safe to do so.

 In the process Scotching another myth - that Scots are mean and/or tight with their money.

 I take my hat off to the Flopsy Bunny and the good natured travellers who have made him/her a YouTube star.

SNP - Conspiracy of Silence

So here's the issue - two Glasgow MSPs (Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf) have been asked a reasonable question about their use of public money to employ two SNP councillors who already have full-time, salaried jobs as senior elected members of Glasgow City Council.   But these two public servants (both long-serving ministers) refuse to answer, so what to do next? One regular reader suggests raising the matter on the floor of the Scottish Parliament which is a good idea, but requires an MSP who's prepared to put down a written question for Scottish Ministers to answer.
