The Labour leadership contest took an intriguing twist the other day - with the announcement that Marion Miliband will not be backing either of her two sons.
Instead she has decided instead to back Diane Abbott - widely viewed as the contest's 'no hoper'.
David Miliband is strongly tipped to win the Labour crown - though brother Ed may yet pip him at the post if the big trade unions get their way.
Perhaps in a move to avoid further strife - Marion Miliband has wisely avoided choosing between her two sons.

so, she has let it be know that the left-wing and only woman candidate - Diane Abbott - will be receiving her precious vote.
